in the snow
Event: mother rescued the
kitten, then became angry and killed it.

Listener heard the call of a small and
pleading creature. To his surprise the ugly woman opened the
door to the snow and lifted the tiny thing to her. The ugly
woman spoke to the kitten in tones of loving concern, which were
never bestowed on the orphans.
The kitten seemed to ignore her. This
total disregard enraged the woman and she hurled it at the wall.
The little kitten slid down and fell to the floor. Lobo felt
very sad.
